WORKING HOURS: 9:00-17:00 from Monday to Friday (flex time can be considered)

SALARY: €50k-55k, depending on experience + other social benefits

LOCATION: Düsseldorf, Germany (Currently 2 days of working from home. It may change depending on the company’s decision.)

RESPONSIBILITY:

- Contact person for all relevant customs issues within the company
- Close cooperation with the other departments (Import & Export -Air & Sea Freight-, Customer Service & Sales)
- Advising and supporting international customers and business partners on customs and foreign trade issues
- Communication with customs authorities
- Maintenance of master data in the ATLAS customs processing software
- Tariff classification of goods in the nomenclature (H.S. codes)
- Opening & termination of customs transit procedures
- Preparation and execution of correct customs clearance for import and export shipments, taking into account current legal requirements and customs regulations, as well as applicable preferences and export regulations

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

- 1-2 years of experience of customs in the forwarding and logistics services or wholesale and foreign trade
- Knowledge of relevant customs issues in the area of import and export
- Native or business level German
- Business level English
- Structured and accurate way of working
- Ability to work in a team
