Join us as a Financing and Risk Solutions Associate
- We’ll need you to support senior originators to build and maintain our business with a target client base, help with client deep dives and navigate the sales coverage teams
- Day-to-day, you’ll prepare pitch materials, term sheets, post-transaction reviews and other documentation to support with our origination activities
- Finance and risk play major roles when it comes to championing our bank’s potential, so you’ll have the opportunity to thrive and enhance your career profile in this solutions-driven position
- This role will involve regular business travel to German speaking regions, but also to offices in the UK and Europe

**What you’ll do**:
Your daily responsibilities will see you focusing on the delivery of derivatives and capital markets origination for our SSA and corporate customers and preparing client pitches that have a focus on the derivative business of the Debt Financing & Solutions team in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

As an associate that focuses on debt financing and solutions, you’ll be gathering feedback from internal client touchpoints and helping business management to assess our bank’s performance by using various measures, including customer satisfaction, revenue and capital efficiency.

Your top priorities will include:

- Driving the cooperation of colleagues from the Coverage, Trading, Syndicate, Sales and Advisory functions
- Supporting the wider franchise with the overall regional customer growth agenda
- Delivering the derivative and debt capital markets transactions for our SSA and corporate customers
- Helping with the effective management of transactions to ensure clients and investors view NatWest Markets as having high standards when it comes to delivery and deal management
- Taking reasonable steps to make sure all activities are in line with our policies that cover conduct, operational, credit and regulatory risks

**The skills you’ll need**:
To be successful in this role, you’ll have high attention to detail and an excellent numerical skillset. You’ll also be self-driven and highly motivated. German language skills would be advantageous.

Furthermore, you’ll need:

- To be fluent in English
- An understanding of how to act with integrity and in the interest of customers, while handling various workstreams simultaneously
- Experience of delivering derivative transactions, including interest rates and cross-currency swaps, to customers
- Knowledge of how to pitch and deliver debt capital markets transactions to SSA, FI and corporate customers
