**Then come and join our global team as **Senior System Architect for Product Development & Engineering, with responsibility for developing and maintaining optimized cross-system architectures, concepts and standards for Product Development and Engineering.**

**Your tasks and responsibilities**:

- As a cross-system architect you will be responsible for developing and maintaining optimized cross-system architectures, concepts and standards, taking into account strategic, technical and economic aspects and constantly involving all stakeholders
- You will collaborate with our Business Areas, Business Lines and Technology Centers around the globe (co-creation) to define the future of cross-system architectures for modular platforms (“building blocks”) together, thereby generating synergies and creating sustainable value for the company
- You will assist in defining the Siemens Healthineers building blocks strategy and its practical implementation in cross-system architecture development with a view to generating synergies and economic benefits throughout the entire product portfolio
- You will identify and evaluate development projects based on the building blocks approach, support their implementation, and monitor their performance and economic benefits
- You will drive and motivate colleagues to change horizontal and vertical interfaces in order to establish inter/intra-architectural standards and synergies
- You will support Business Area and Business Line architects and developers in drawing up architecture specifications, system modeling, risk analyses and security policies, test concepts, user stories and epics
- You will be part of a dynamic and skilled team of system and software architects with many years of multifaceted experience in relevant areas of business and industry
- You will network internally and externally to stay up to date with the latest technologies, methods and trends

**Your qualifications and experience**:

- You have a degree in natural sciences, engineering or computer science, preferably with a doctorate
- You have put your outstanding team skills and collaborative skills to the test in global, intercultural and cross-functional research and development teams within companies
- You have relevant experience with agile development methods (LEAN, Agile, SAFE, SCRUM, CI/CD)
- You have wide-ranging practical knowledge of architecture methods and tools (MBSE, SysML, UML, Enterprise Architect, MagicDraw)
- You have accumulated extensive knowledge of the Siemens Healthineers product portfolio and its architecture
- You focus on the entire lifecycle of products (CRM, PLM, SCM)
- Ideally you have a qualification in software or system architecture domains (INCOSE, IEEE)

- You have a sharp analytical and strategic mindset combined with business development skills, pragmatic implementation competence and a proactive approach to work
- A methodical way of working and the ability to work in a team are essential

- You are a talented communicator with outstanding creativity and an understanding of how to sustain high quality standards
- You are business-fluent in spoken and written English and German
