**Junior Designer (M/F/d)**

By never losing sight of our brands’ essence, you, as our newest Designer addition for BIRKENSTOCK consistently and productively challenge the status quo, strive for new and exciting looks and solutions, and think out of the box in a way that merges our brands fundamental functionality with zeitgeist.

YOUR TASKS:

- You develop creative design proposals and quickly become an integral part of the Product Design team.
- You work holistically with an ability to network across functions: You are full-on involved in the design processes, utilizing your skills to effectively support the greater Product Design team with drawings, presentations, and conceptual designs, utilizing all functionalities of CAD and design software as well as hand sketching.
- Your desire to design rivals ours and you consistently and productively challenge the status quo, strive for new and exciting looks and solutions, with innovative ideas. Beyond creativity you keep your ear to the ground and eyes peeled on new macro and micro consumer trends to incorporate in your designs.
- You collaborate closely with the Product Development and Product Line Management teams.

YOUR PROFILE:

- University degree, vocational training or comparable qualification with a focus on (industrial) design, fashion or shoe design
- Relevant working experience in the design industry is an advantage
- Ideally a first understanding of footwear manufacturing methods and constructions and of shoe design
- Fit in MS office and the common design programs (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.); experience with 3D tools is desired
- Fluent in English, German is a plus
- Creative and customer-centric design thinking abilities
- Organized team player with very good communication and presentation skills
- Willing to travel
