The appointed Juniorprofessor will be the academic lead for the new tech start-up incubation program “STARK” - an
initiative funded by the Saxon Government to facilitate entrepreneurship in East Saxony. Transfer capabilities are thus
an important aspect for contributing to the objectives of STARK to develop and incubate new business models both in
start-ups and in established organizations. A specific requirement is a willingness to strongly cooperate with research
applicable knowledge about start-up incubation and acceleration and experience in conceptualization and delivery of
start-up support and acceleration programs. IT-related competencies (e.g. Coding, Software Engineering, AI,
Blockchain, Crypto, etc.) are beneficial, an IT-related degree a plus.
