Cox Automotive is looking for a **Head of Buyer Engagement** to lead our buyer engagement team across Europe. This role is pivotal in engaging with dealer buyers to understand their needs, activate them as members of our platform, and ensure they remain engaged long-term. As part of the leadership team, you’ll play a key role in shaping the buyer growth strategy and fostering collaboration across sales, marketing, and product teams.
What You’ll Do:
**Team Leadership & Management**:
- Build, lead, and mentor a remote, multi-cultural team across Europe, ensuring high performance and effective collaboration.
- Implement best practices for remote team collaboration and performance optimisation.
- Lead regular cross-functional meetings with sales, marketing, and product teams to align on buyer engagement goals.
**Buyer Engagement Strategy & Activation**:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive buyer engagement strategy to attract, activate, and retain buyers on the platform.
- Drive buyer activation programmes that encourage sign-ups and repeated engagement.
- Develop and manage initiatives that improve buyer loyalty and retention.
**Buyer Insights & Experience Optimisation**:
- Build strong relationships with buyers to understand their needs, preferences, and pain points through research, surveys, interviews, and data analysis.
- Leverage buyer insights to influence product development, enhance the customer journey, and inform platform improvements.
**Data Analysis & Performance Management**:
- Establish KPIs and performance metrics for buyer engagement, continuously tracking progress and driving improvements.
- Analyse buyer churn rates and implement strategies to reduce attrition and enhance satisfaction.
- Optimise buyer communications and interactions using CRM tools and engagement platforms in collaboration with marketing.
**Market Research & Collaboration**:
- Leverage market research and buyer behaviour data to tailor engagement initiatives for diverse European markets.
- Work closely with the marketing team to provide data-driven feedback on buyer needs to support targeted campaigns.
- Stay informed on industry trends, the competitive landscape, and regulatory changes across European markets.
What We’re Looking For:
- ** Experience**: A minimum of 5-10 years in buyer engagement, customer success, or similar leadership roles in the European wholesale automotive industry.
- ** Proven Track Record**: Success in building and scaling buyer support/engagement functions from the ground up, particularly in a digital, high-growth environment.
- ** Leadership**: Experience managing remote, diverse teams across multiple European markets, with a focus on driving team performance and engagement.
- ** Market Expertise**: Deep knowledge of the European used vehicle market, buyer behaviours, and engagement strategies.
- ** Analytical Skills**: Strong ability to analyse data, identify insights, and translate findings into actionable strategies.
- ** Communication**: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in English (additional European languages are a plus).
- ** Cultural Sensitivity**: Adaptable and able to operate effectively within a multi-cultural environment.
- ** Strategic Mindset**: A hands-on, results-oriented leader with the ability to think strategically and execute with precision.
- ** Cross-functional Collaboration**: Experience working with sales, marketing, and product teams to deliver successful buyer engagement initiatives.
