**Sales Assistant**
**Frankfurt**

As a Barclays Sales Assistant, you will join us to cover our Fixed Income business in Europe by providing support to Front office partners, clients, and back-office teams, and becoming our primary point of contact for all enquiries and escalations. In your new role, you will manage split and allocations and support the Sales team with KYC onboarding, while stepping in where necessary to arrange buy-ins and prioritise settlement with clients, and liaising with repo traders to cover short positions by borrowing bonds.

**What will you be doing?**:

- Monitoring trades and communicating with stakeholders to resolve any trade discrepancies
- Managing intraday reports and trading exceptions to improve timeliness for trade affirmations
- Being the first line of contact for clients and internal teams for all discrepancies and issues
- Monitoring failing trades, stepping in where necessary to arrange buy-ins and prioritise settlement with clients
- Liaising with repo traders to cover short positions by borrowing bonds
- Trade validation of bookings and amendments always ensuring accuracy
- Providing a high level of service to our stakeholders

**What we’re looking for**:

- Financial Services experience
- Operations experience related to Middle Office role
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Very good verbal and written command of German (C1 level) and English

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Knowledge of Fixed Income and trade Lifecycle
- Understanding of Fixed Income Bonds
- Previous Middle Office/ Trade Support experience
- Knowledge of electronic platforms for trading and confirmations including Bloomberg, TradeWeb, MarketAxess, Omgeo, CTM and FIX

**Where will you be working?**
Our new Frankfurt office is based in the heart of the new business district in the Taunus Turm. It boasts modern, collaborative workspaces and offers a gym, a number of different food outlets close by and direct access to a large park.
