**Accountant**:

- As an accountant (M/F/d) at CentralNic, you are responsible for the preparation of current accounting. You support us in the preparation of monthly financial statements, business evaluations, VAT reconciliation and are also responsible for the monthly VAT advance registration. In addition, you will actively participate in the preparation of the consolidated financial statements and the annual financial statements for our companies.- Ideally, the position should be filled at one of our locations in Germany or Luxembourg with ad-hoc travel to the St Ingbert office from time to time.
- This role is open to both full time and part time applicants.What we are looking for in you
- Independent preparation of monthly financial statements and current accounting
- Reconciliation of G/L accounts and open items/accounts payable
- Assistance in dunning
- Preparation of monthly financial statements and business evaluations
- Participation in the preparation of annual financial statements
- Support in the processing and preparation of tax returns of the supervising companies
- Sales tax reconciliation and sales tax testing, as well as creating monthly sales tax advance declarations
- Active participation in the digitization of our business accounting and participation in process optimization

About you
- you have completed your training as an accountant, tax specialist or tax assistant or have completed your studies
- you have several years of professional experience in the above-mentioned field
- have solid knowledge of German or Luxembourgish accounting, as well as accounting
- has good knowledge of accounting software, preferably Datev or SAP Business One
- you are well versed in using the common office programs (MS Excel, MS Access)
- like to work independently and actively contribute your own ideas to improve company processes
- excellent German communication skills
