As a pioneer of premium sportswear brands, X-Bionic® is looking for a driven Social Media Lead that manages our social media team in Berlin to build an outstanding X-Bionic community, which advances our continuous revolution of the sportswear industry and sports performance worldwide.
We are looking for an inspired, creative and passionate individual to lead our social media team while setting an effective, strategic and creative vision that aligns with the company’s global marketing and branding standards at the earliest possible date.
Tasks
- Manage and grow the company’s social media presence by developing, implementing and maintaining a successful social media strategy across different channels: i.e. Instagram, TikTok and Youtube
- Build a vibrant and active X-Bionic community by understanding and living the company’s culture and by transferring it into effective storytelling on social media
- Generate unique designs, high-quality graphic content and promotional concepts that strengthen the company’s brand position on all social media platforms
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing & Brand Manager located in Wollerau / CH
- Oversee day-to-day management of campaigns and ensure brand consistency
- Collaborate with and lead the social media team (content & visual) in Berlin
- Monitor and analyze progress on all platforms by using analytical tools and optimize accordingly, if necessary
- Analyze and prepare data by turning it into actionable ‘insights’ and create successful campaigns and innovative concepts based on it
- Report regularly to Marketing & Brand Manager in order to create and to revise strategies, concepts and campaigns
- Form key relationships with influencers and athletes across the social media platforms
- Manage the company’s budget for social media activities
- Research, evaluate and implement the latest social media trends
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing/communication or related field
- 5 years experience in a similar role with lead experience
- Proven experience within the sports industry as well as an active sports background and interest in running, cycling, trekking, winter sports or similar is strongly desired
- Fluency in English is a must (verbal and written), German is an advantage
- Strong understanding of marketing/brand strategies and how to effortlessly utilize these concepts throughout various forms of outreaches and social media platforms
- Strategic and conceptual thinker with the ability to ideate and execute creative for multiple social media platforms
- Highly proficient use of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Youtube preferred) and related posting/monitoring programs
- Strategic planning ability and very strong project management and analytical skills
- Strong creative, conceptual and visual skills with an excellent hands-on mentality
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and leadership skills
- Ability to manage and supervise the social media team and simultaneously work toward various company initiatives at once
- Innovative, forward-thinking and independent work behavior, yet strong team player
- Positive can-do-attitude in a high-energy and fast-paced environment
- Strong software skills in: Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
