Intern Demand Planning

**JOIN OUR TEAM**:
As **Intern Demand Planning**you will play a key role in supporting Westwing’s Demand Planning team by improving workflow efficiency and ensuring accurate forecasts. You will assist senior team members with analyzing historical sales data, preparing forecast reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Marketing and Retail Campaigns to ensure optimal inventory levels. Your contributions will directly impact the planning and execution of campaigns and seasonal ordering. This position is **limited to 6 months** and located in **Munich.**

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**:

- assist Senior Demand Planners with preparing and reviewing demand forecasts, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
- support in identifying and flagging deviations in SKU-level forecasts, helping address pre-replenishment issues
- monitor and track event performance, ensuring adherence to approved budgets, focusing on forecast accuracy and prepare insights for monthly demand reviews
- collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and address stakeholder stock requests and conduct stock projection reviews for partner teams to ensure successful marketing activities
- contribute to process improvements, working closely with the team to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency

**YOU COME WITH**:

- persuing a degree in supply chain, operations, economics, industrial engineering, or a related field
- analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel (knowledge of SQL would be a positive)
- strong affinity for data and numbers, with the ability to effectively communicate insights across different levels of seniority
- exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrating a hands-on approach with a focus on both detail and fast execution
- fluency in English
