We are currently seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented and forwarding thinking individual to join our Corporate Security team in METRO AG

Where your expertise is needed:
**Corporate responsibilities**:

- Ensure appropriate management of and response to security incidents, liaise with emergency services and authorities if and when required, manage, maintain, and further develop the security incident management platform
- Support the crisis management process (including keeping crisis management guidelines up to date), coordinate crisis management tasks, design and give trainings, develop and perform security risk assessments for existing operations and potential expansion territories, identify changes in the threat landscape of current operations
- Manage projects and trainings related to security management, information security, and resilience, handle social engineering/phishing cases and further improve training and reporting procedures
- Manage travel security for international travellers, coordinate internal security communication through various channels
- Design group-wide corporate guidelines and manuals

Regional responsibilities:

- Coordinate together with your line manager in best practice exchange and project management over all Metro countries.
- Exchange regularly with local security departments to understand local developments and changes
- Together with your line manager, advise the management in local organisations on security and loss prevention measures

**Qualifications**:

- Knowledge and understanding of the security field with around 2+ years of corporate security experience in industry (retail, wholesale is an advantage)
- Self-directed approach to learning and development in the security area; awareness of evolving security trends, topics and regulations, strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiating skills, excellent communication skills.
- Professional understanding of IT systems and information security threats (IT native preferred)
- University degree (Business Administrations, Security Management, Engineering, or equivalent); relevant professional certifications preferred (CPO, CPP, CISM, etc.)
- Fluent English (writing and speaking); additional languages are an advantage (Spanish, French, Italian)
- Ability to travel internationally (also at short notice) up to 30%
