Lab Specialist Chemical Analytics

**Responsibilities**: - As Lab Specialist you will support our "Chemical Analytics" team in the field of materials analysis of Freudenberg products such as elastomers from sealing and vibration control technology, technical têxtiles and filtration materials, and specialty chemical products. - In this role, you will work on analytical issues using complex analytical methods in the fields of chromatography and mass spectrometry (GC/MS, HPLC/MS, GPC, ion chromatography) as well as spectroscopy (FTIR, Raman, ICP-OES, NMR), if applicable. - You will carry out the documentation, preparation and evaluation of test results and prepare reports for our clients. - In the future, you will also be responsible for presenting results and discussing them with our clients. In addition, you will provide consulting services to our partners regarding the selection of suitable analysis options for specific questions and the interpretation of results. - You will support the further development of existing measurement and/or evaluation procedures and create and validate standard instructions and internal test specifications. - You will monitor the equipment qualifications. **Qualifications**: - You are trained as a chemical laboratory technician or chemical technician or have a scientific qualification, for example a bachelor's degree in chemistry. - You can demonstrate practical laboratory experience, especially in the field of chromatography with mass spectrometry coupling and sample preparation of elastomer samples (extraction, chemical digestion, media storage). - You have a high quality awareness and have knowledge in method validation. - Your self-organization is excellent ('Sense of Urgency'). - You look forward to changes that a research and development environment brings. - You have good communication skills, a hands-on mentality and a high degree of customer focus. - You are fluent in written and spoken German and have a good command of English.
