**To support our school community, we are looking for a full-time School Nurse to join us as soon as possible.**

Berlin Metropolitan School is the largest international school in Berlin. Over 1,000 students from more than 60 different nations learn together on our campus in the heart of Berlin. BMS is an all-day school offering students from kindergarten to grade 12 a modern and values-based education based on local curricula and the best international programs.

**YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provide first aid to students and staff in both German and English.
- Care for and support (chronically) ill or special needs children.
- Create care plans in cases requiring special treatment or medication administration.
- Communicate across disciplines, including with parents and health authorities, in both German and English.
- Document and report health-related incidents in accordance with German law.
- Handle accident reports and act as the first point of contact in the event of an outbreak of infectious diseases within the school community.
- Conduct health training for teaching staff and offer suitable preventive measures for the school community.
- Plan and coordinate first-aid training for staff.

**YOU ARE A GREAT FIT FOR THIS ROLE BECAUSE YOU**:

- Have completed training or a degree as a health care professional, registered nurse, or equivalent qualification.
- Have professional experience in nursing, ideally with children.
- Enjoy working with children.
- Always demonstrate empathy, friendliness, and a positive attitude in all interactions.
- Possess strong communication skills.
- Work in a proactive, independent, reliable, and solution-oriented manner.
- Have excellent knowledge of MS Office.
- Are fluent in English and ideally have a good command of German.
