Overview:
**_ **CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD**_**
SOSi is seeking a highly qualified Junior Database Administrator to support government contract requirements in the Europe & Africa Area of Responsibility (AOR).
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in administering, testing, and implementing computer databases.
- Support coordination of database changes.
- May assist with security measures.
- Operate, administer, and maintain databases and servers under supervision.
- Assist with DBMS installation, configuration, backups, restores, monitoring, and maintenance tasks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or AA with 2+ years of experience, or high school with 4 years of relevant experience.
- An active in scope Secret security clearance.
- DOD Cyber Work Force (DCWF) 421 Certs: Cloud+ or GSEC or Security+ or SSCP or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint for document management and various administrative tasks.
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to follow processes, procedures, and direction to support client needs.
Working Conditions:
- Normal office conditions with potential to perform duties in deployed locations.
- Core hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 0600 - 1700.
- May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
- It is anticipated that contractor personnel will be required to travel on Temporary Duty (TDY) to various CONUS and OCONUS locations based on USAREUR-AF and Mission Partner requirements.
