** Your tasks**
- Representing the Faculty of Social Sciences through teaching, research and

continuing academic education
- Teaching political science modules; active participation in teaching the basics in

all degree programs at the Faculty of Social Sciences
- Strenghtening the transfer of theory into practice through research-based teaching

and learning, as well as promoting students' ability to reflect on themselves
- Active participation in academic self-governance and the further development of

degree programs
- Willingness to cooperate and work in an interdisciplinary manner across different

fields of study
- Involvement in the international orientation of the faculty, cooperation with

professional practice and research institutes, as well as commitment to research
and development projects, also in the context of the Greater Region
- Offering English-language lectures, if required
- On-site presence at the university in order to provide optimal support for students

**Your qualifications**(according to the Saarland Higher Education Act SHSG)
- A university degree
- Teaching skills, generally verified by experience in teaching or training and by

participation in advanced and further training courses in higher education
- A special aptitude for scientific work, as demonstrated, as a rule, by the quality We would particularly like to encourage
