Responsibilites
- Manage in autonomy complete suppliers’ selection process in accordance with Commodity strategy, costs and program timing (from RfQ phase to Serial Nomination Letter)
- Negotiate supplying contracts with selected suppliers (Serial Nomination Letter/ PPAP approval process)
- Maintain purchase part information to achieve cost target values
- Prepare, release and update purchasing orders
- Sourcing and selection of assigned commodity suppliers that meet the criteria of quality delivery and cost to achieve the company's business objectives
- Meet annual cost savings target and ensure budget targets are met as per business plan
- Independent negotiation and conclusion of contracts under Hanon T&C
- Key supplier management and procurement market analysis

Your Profile
- Completed training with further technical education or studies in the fields of
- Mechanical engineering, production engineering or industrial engineering
- 3-5 years of commodity/program buyer purchasing experience mainly in the automotive industry preferred
- Commodity knowledge in the field of casting preferred
- Good IT skills (MS-Office) as well as good knowledge in the use of SAP
- Distinct market, industry and contract law knowledge
- Strong strategic thinking and negotiation skills
- Hands on mentality, proactive approach
- Organizational and coordination skills
- Fluent in written and spoken German and English
