Senior Buyer

**THE ROLE & THE TEAM**:
As a Senior Buyer in **Young Fashion**, you will be part of a high performing and driven team You will work alongside the team lead to develop innovative and strategic solutions for your Cluster's brand portfolio. You'll be handling strategic brands such as Bestseller, Mango, Inditex, Dr. Martens. You have strong analytical skills and customer driven mindset to develop appealing assortments that will attract new customers and excite existing ones. You enjoy team leadership and people development, as you will oversee a team of three Buyers.

- As the Senior Buyer you define the seasonal strategy of the Young Fashion Highstreet & Directional cluster, taking into account the Lounge by Zalando strategy, your customer profile, trends and competitive landscape.
- You are fluent in commanding your KPIs and role model collaboration with Buying stakeholders, steering the seasonal budget and OTB to monitor the performance of your cluster and take action accordingly.
- Your responsibility will be to build an assortment for Zalando by Lounge with a holistic view on markets and seasonal demand.
- You drive key partner strategy and have direct ownership for top accounts in your portfolio, directing the acquisition of new brands, negotiating the best terms for Lounge by Zalando and identifying all levers for growth.
- Leading a team of 3 experienced Buyers; you will be fully responsible for managing, coaching and developing your team by identifying their strengths, development areas and training needs.

**WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF**:

- You have a degree in business, economics or fashion management and 4+ years professional experience in working for a fast paced e-commerce retailing business working within an international multi brand environment, it's a plus if you bring experience from the Young Fashion industry.
- You are a strong leader who is passionate about developing people, guiding their career and acting as a role model for the wider buying team.
- Your excellent analytical skills put you on top of the class and you love working with numbers to validate your gut instinct buying decisions and take risks to achieve your unit plan
- Negotiation skill set, you have mastered both written and spoken negotiation. You display strong stakeholder and relationship management skills, both with internal and external stakeholders
- You have clear knowledge and understanding of both the full
- and offprice business as well as the Young Fashion brand landscape within Europe.
