**The Position**:
This position is part time eligible with 80 %.

**Tasks & responsibilities**:

- In your role as Principal Scientist, you will represent the Research DMPK discipline in international drug discovery projects. For these projects, you will develop screening strategies with focus on in vitro ADME, in vivo PK and PK/PD.
- Furthermore, you will be responsible for the supervision of in vivo Pharmacokinetic studies and for planning and coordinating relevant DMPK profiling.
- The interpretation and communication of DMPK data and strategies within multi-disciplinary research teams and at stakeholder meetings will be part of your tasks.

**Requirements**:

- PhD in biology, veterinary medicine, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related scientific field with several years of relevant industry experience
- In depth knowledge of DMPK, preferably in industrial preclinical or clinical DMPK
- Qualified supervisor of in vivo studies according to the German animal welfare legislation with strong experience in this field and high ethical standards
- Knowledge on pharmacology and PK/PD
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate in international multi-disciplinary teams, and to communicate complex matter to the project teams and stakeholders Fluent written and spoken English and German
