We’re now hiring a **Finance Director - EU Wholesale** based in **Cologne**to lead the financial strategy and execution for our fast-growing **Digital Wholesale Marketplace** and **Physical Auction operations** across Spain and Portugal. This is a highly commercial, multi-country finance role with direct influence on strategy, performance, and growth.

**The Role**

As Finance Director, you will:

- **Shape commercial strategy** across key EU markets (Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal and more)
- **Build and lead a pan-European finance team**, driving performance and engagement
- **Partner with leadership** to influence high-stakes decisions and growth initiatives
- **Own the numbers**—from day-to-day control to long-term financial planning, analytics and risk management
- **Support a major new digital proposition**, scaling operations across Europe

You’ll be part of the **European Finance Leadership Team**, reporting to the **Group Finance Director** and working within a collaborative matrix structure that values innovation, integrity and impact.

**What We’re Looking For**

We’re looking for a commercially minded finance leader with:

- A **fully qualified accounting background** (Big 4 preferred)
- Fluency in **English and German**:

- **Multi-country finance experience**, ideally in technology, digital platforms or automotive
- Proven success leading teams and partnering across a matrix organisation
- Strong analytical, strategic and leadership skills—with the confidence to challenge and influence
