We employ our medical doctors and provide them with a 21st-century work environment that enables them to deliver the best care. Your Role You lead Avi Medicals medical organization. Your responsibilities include hiring, development and performance management of all medical staff across clinics in all regions. Your direct reports will be regional Medical Leads (Ärztliche Leitungen) as well as regional Nursing Leads (MFA Führung). The focus of your role starts in Primary Care but will evolve in adjacent services like nutrition or mental health and potentially other specialties in the future. You own our medical vision as well as regulatory, technical and operational requirements coming along with providing these services. You’ll report directly to the COO and collaborate closely with Operations, People, Product and Design to build a 21st century medical care provider. **You will**: - Lead Avis Medical Staff; build a medical organization and reporting structure from local to regional and to HQ for Doctors and Nurses - Develop local Ärztliche Leitungen (Doctors) and MFA Führungen (Nurses) to regional Leads who report to you - Head our Medical Board and be part of Avi’s Senior Leadership Team - Act as a point of contact for regulatory authorities on clinical questions - Proactively identify opportunities to increase medical outcomes and efficiency in our medical service - Contribute to Avi’s medical service offering based on medical, operational and financial evaluation - Build relationships among the clinical community and position Avi Medical as thought leader Required Skills and Experience - Several years working Experience as ‘Facharzt für Allgemeinmedizin / Innere Medizin’ in the statutory outpatient sector - Leadership role (Ärztliche Leitung); ideally with >10 doctors across multiple locations - Track record of running highly profitable clinic(s) with >80% statutory patients - Extensive knowledge of medical services and their reimbursement (statutory, private and out-of-pocket) - High interest in prevention, new diagnostics and to use technology to deliver high quality, evidence based primary care - Analytical, data-driven mindset - Excellent communicator who can easily adapt to the required level of expertise and understanding - Excellent written and verbal skills in German & English Perks & Benefits - Gym: Membership in premium gyms throughout Germany - Education Budget: €1.000/year that you can spend for your professional growth and development.
