Photo and Video Content Creator

**Your role**:
At Kitchen Stories, we work in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams. Our creative team, who brings our content to life, is made up of editors, designers, photographers, video producers, chefs, and operations managers. As a content producer, you don’t just sit behind a camera—you tell stories, develop concepts, style our food, manage equipment, and post-produce pictures. Being a global food platform means that we produce new, consistent, and high-quality content every week. Therefore, the creative team follows a tight production plan that complies with brand and style guidelines.

As a Photo and Video Content Creator, you contribute to visual projects and productions in planning and execution and take ownership of executing our brand's unique visual language. In this role, you would be working with both the video and photo teams on a wide variety of our different creative projects. You’re comfortable with a camera in your hand, whether that’s taking still images or capturing motion. You have some proficiency with video editing and for the perfect look, you retouch and edit our photos using recent software. This is a dynamic role where you get to try your hand at many different areas in our visual production team here at Kitchen Stories.
- You support the video & photo team with shooting, retouching photos and editing videos based on the team's needs
- You will creatively tell stories around food in both video and photo to a high standard, and in line with the Kitchen Stories visual guidelines and optimized for social media
- You will be a core member of our Youtube channel, helping us to succeed on the platform
- You assist with operational needs for the production of campaigns with our various partners
- You work in a cross-functional, creative team including content and video editors, photographers, chefs, and operations managers

**Your profile**:

- You are a creative storyteller through visual mediums at it’s core
- You have experience shooting in both natural and studio lighting—even better if that experience includes food and lifestyle photography and video
- You leverage your practical experience with professional training or studies in photography or a related discipline
- You are adept in the use of Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro and Capture One
- Although your preferred place is behind the camera, you have managed projects from planning to post-production
- You have a portfolio that demonstrates your talent, ability to work in a studio setting, and, ideally, work with food
- You have your finger on the pulse of new video and photo trends and consume content online
- You are inspired by cooking and telling stories around it, and therefore, style and build atmospheric sets that make the food shine
- You speak fluent English and work proficiently in German
