To accomplish that mission, we need you Linearity is seeking a Senior Motion Designer to join the Marketing team, consisting of a multidisciplinary group of designers, marketeers, and channel heads. This passionate team gives shape to the ways Linearity shows up and interacts with the world through brand touch-points, marketing efforts, and social channels. This is a full time role that is based in Berlin, Germany. **Life as a Senior Motion Designer at Linearity**: - Contribute to all stages of animation / video creative development, from ideation and storyboarding to production and final delivery - Develop, champion and influence how the Linearity brand expresses itself through motion and develop guidelines, systems, and processes to ensure quality and consistency at scale - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (ex: designers, engineers, marketeers, social, product, event, etc) in ways that elevate and inform the team’s output - Nurture and mentor other designers, and help them grow in their Motion experience - Work closely with designers and developers in implementing engaging and dynamic motion solutions across Linearity's web surfaces **Requirements**: - 5+ years of motion design experience - A dynamic portfolio and/or motion reel showcasing technical 2D animation expertise, a high-level of craft, and a great sense of timing - Ability to effectively communicate concepts and design rationale - Experience working independently, driving multiple projects at a time, and iterating quickly - Experience in building and extending motion systems - Experience in 2D static designs (to aid in the ownership and creation of 2D animations) **Nice to have**: - Preferably Agency experience - Strong critical thinking and storytelling skills **Benefits** Ways of working: Flexible working culture/schedule (your choice of how you would like to work) Paid time off: 27 vacation days and 1 extra day each year of employment - ️ Family first: 6 months full pay maternity & paternity leave - Social responsibility: Take 2 days off to volunteer in a charity event Period leave: take 1 day off per month ‍ -️ Recharge: 4 weeks of additional leave for every 5 years of employment Additional Benefits: - Further education: Training budget, garage sessions and mentoring with our senior leads - Relocation budget & assistance Latest Apple working equipment All expensed company-wide retreats Fun Stuff: Game events, Kahoot sessions, and onsite parties in Berlin
