But contrary to the container, most surrounding processes have not been standardized nor innovated—and are still frustratingly complex, manual, and error-prone.
That’s why our ambition is to use technology to simplify the logistics of global trade, making the processes around the container as simple as the container itself. We do that by providing a neutral infrastructure that connects all logistics companies to remove friction and create economic opportunity.
Finance Analytics Intern (f/m/d)
As our Finance Analytics Intern, you will support the Finance Operations team in different analytics projects, ranging from customer specific requests to the exciting implementation of Oracle Netsuite, our future ERP system You will work closely with the finance leadership, Operations specialists and directly with our clients, ensuring an excellent costumer experience.
Your responsibilities in a nutshell
- Engage in the migration of our data structure into a revised structure that will enable us to reach the next level: the Netsuite implementation
- Optimize our transaction tables by finding gaps between invoices and charge/credit lines and by structurally working through the gaps found - let’s ensure that every line in the system is linked to an invoice
- Build monitoring sheets, ad-hoc analysis for financial reporting purposes and automations wherever possible and maintain and improve the logic of current KPI dashboards
- Ensure a great customer experience by handling special requests, allowing easier reconciliation and approval of invoices
- Help us find the perfect solution to discrepancies identified by internal and external stakeholders and support the Finance Leadership or Executive team with your financial analysis
**Requirements**:
What we’re looking for
- Student or graduate with an educational and/or practical background in Finance/Accounting, Economics or Business Administration, looking for a six-month internship with the potential for a full-time position
- You are passionate about analysis and our mission to disrupt an entire industry, have a problem-solving attitude and a strong desire to take ownerships of your tasks
- You communicate in a clear and structured way and are not afraid to do so internally and while facing our clients
- Fluency in English - any other language would be super nice but is no must-have
- Good knowledge of SQL and Excel and thriving on handling large amounts of data is a great plus
