**External Sales Executive - (Field-Based)**
**€70,000-€80,000 base salary + car + 10% bonus (paid quarterly)**
An international manufacturer of precision technical equipment is looking for a **Field Sales Executive** to cover a key territory in Germany. This is a high-impact role with strong earnings, full training, and clear long-term career growth.
**The Role**
You’ll be responsible for managing and developing a territory that spans central-west Germany (Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Cologne and surrounding areas). Working from home and on the road, you’ll meet with both end users and distribution partners, conducting on-site product demonstrations and closing short-cycle sales.
Key responsibilities include:
- Selling a range of technical, electro-mechanical products used in industrial quality control.
- Managing your own pipeline, generating new business and reactivating dormant accounts.
- Providing consultative, solution-based sales tailored to each client’s technical needs.
- Conducting face-to-face product demos and offering after-sales support.
- Maintaining accurate records in CRM and collaborating with colleagues across two national offices.
- Attending trade shows and industry events to build pipeline and visibility.
You’ll report to the Country Manager and spend one day per month at head office to align with internal teams.
**What We’re Looking For**
This role is ideal for a driven, autonomous sales professional who thrives on winning new business and working closely with technical products.
**Must-haves**:
- Proven experience in external B2B field sales
- Strong communication and technical demo skills
- Solution selling background with short sales cycles (typically 72 hours to 1 week)
- Fluent in German and English
- Full driving licence
- Based in or near the Düsseldorf/Frankfurt/Cologne region
- Comfortable with regular travel (including overnight stays)
**Preferred backgrounds include**:
- Paints, coatings, tooling, or industrial equipment sales
- Roles where short-cycle, consultative selling is the norm
