**Your mission**:

- Understand business and project goals and translate them into solutions and strategies for data preparation & algorithm design
- Review existing ML solutions, assess the feasibility, and propose alternative solutions
- Extract data from multiple sources, using machine learning tools to organize, process, clean, and validate the data
- Develop statistical models to explain relationships and use the discovered relationships to inform business and technology decisions
- Present and visualize methods, data and insights in a clear manner
- Collaborate with Data Engineers and ML Engineers to build, test, and validate ML Algorithms
- Staying updated with the latest developments in the field

**Your profile**:
**Experience**
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst or similar role. Alternatively, relevant experience through education is also welcome
- Knowledge of common Machine Learning algorithms in the fields of Supervised Learning,
- Ability to create the basis for (advanced) data analyses, ML algorithms and visualizations in R or Python. Experience with Typescript is a plus. Familiarity with AWS Database Systems (DynamoDB), and Lambda Functions
- BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline, with a focus on Data Science; professional certification is a plus

**Traits**
- Fluent English, German is a plus
- Strong cross-functional working and excellent communication skills
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
- Ability to work with stakeholders who are not engineers, both internal (other departments) & external (clients and partners)
