In the Leibniz Institute of Photonics Technology (Leibniz IPHT), the **Competence Center for Micro
- and Nanotechnologies** offers the possibility for a

**“Synthesis of ultra-dark absorber on flexible substrates”**:
with the** option of employment** on the **basis of a HiWi contract**.

**Your tasks**:

- Design and manufacture of membranes using MEMS technology in the clean room
- Coating of films (PP, aluminum, etc.) by means of metastable atomic layer deposition and its characterization with suitable analysis methods (e.g. spectroscopy, profilometry, etc.)
- Systematic analysis of the layer properties as a function of the substrate or on membranes
- Long-term stability tests of the optimized layers

**Your qualification and skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in physics/material sciences (FH/Uni) or equivalent
- Experimental skills and interest in working in cleanroom
- The ability to work creatively and independently towards developing your own research project

**Salary**:
Remuneration is based on the marginal income limit for a maximum of 39.5 hours/month up to a maximum of €553.00 per month.
