UX Designer

At Bridgestone Mobility Solutions we are looking for a UX Designer dedicated to our line of business Webfleet. We follow a mission: "Move the world towards a sustainable future with data-driven mobility solutions, which put the users first.” User experience is at the forefront of how we create useful, usable, and entertaining products. Webfleet’s Interaction Designers take complex tasks and make them intuitive and easy-to-use for people around the globe. Throughout the design process - from creating user flows and wireframes to building user interface mock-ups and prototypes - you’ll envision how people will experience our products and bring that vision to life in a way that feels inspired, refined, and intuitive. Our centralised UX team is taking care of multi-disciplinary topics, such as Interaction design, UI design, Research and UX writing - we care deeply about, and are the advocates of the people who use our products. The UX team plays an integral part in gathering insights about the attitudes, emotions, and behaviours of people who buy or use our products to inspire and inform product strategy and design. We are passionate about quality, usability, and simplicity. That’s why we collaborate closely with each other, with engineering and product management to create industry-leading products that deliver value for the people who use them, and for Webfleet’s businesses. As an Interaction Designer, you’ll rely on user-centred design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences, from concept to execution. Like all our UX jobs, you’ll collaborate with your design partners to leverage and evolve the Webfleet design to build beautiful, innovative, and inspired products that people love to use. In this role, you will coordinate multiple initiatives across product areas and functions to help Webfleet maintain its user-first approach, invest in constructive relationships, and ensure that ongoing strategic work is conducted with transparency and accountability. **Here is a little taste of your challenge**: - Help define the user experience for new and existing digital interfaces for our customers and users;- Gather user needs and challenges by making use of quantitative and qualitative research results, or methods;- Collaborate with UX, Engineers, Product Managers, Product Owners, Analysts, Lawyers, and more;- Balance user-centred, business, and engineering goals to help shape strategy;- Take on structural and architectural problems by thoughtfully organizing functionality into pages and workflows to meet user needs and match their mental models;- Develop storyboards, wireframes, mock-ups, prototypes, and more to communicate interaction and design ideas;- Validate your work with various internal and external stakeholders. **What do we expect from you?** To be successful as a UX Designer, this is the kind of profile we have in mind: - Preferred, but not required: Masters or Bachelor in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Information Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or Visual design or related fields with user-centred product development experience;- 3+ years’ experience conducting user-centred interaction design work, including requirement engineering, conceptual tasks, persona creation, user journeys, product lifecycle monitoring;- Passion of making our users lives better;- Experience in delivering a product/feature vision with a realistic plan for iterative updates that realise the vision over time;- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, but take pride in ownership of the problem;- Communication skills for dissecting various user experiences and presenting their strengths and weaknesses;- Experience in developing and using a Design system;- Experience mentoring others, outside the UX team;- Good sense of humour, solid sense of pride in your work, and willingness to give and take feedback;- An outstanding portfolio, demonstrating your clean design sense, user focus and dedication to solving sophisticated workflows. **What can you expect from us?**- The chance to work in a fast moving, innovative and international team, dealing with different countries and cultures;- A company culture that likes to work hard and play hard.
