As a Program Director for Energy Markets you will be working in our Energy Markets/Trading unit and take over a key role in E.ON's digital transformation programs to empower us on our way towards a digital-first energy company.
What you are responsible for:
- You are leading our largest and most important Digital Technology growth and efficiency programs within our Energy Markets/Trading unit aiming to drive digitization cross-regionally and cross-functionally and turning E.ON into a digital-first energy company
- You manage large and complex solution programs end-to-end; from definition and setup through delivery to successful go-live and operation
- You engage with senior stakeholders at board and supervisory board level to ensure buy-in and support for the program
- You are accountable for the project governance, for managing dependencies, risks and escalations and for managing the program's budget to ensure successful delivery
- You take over a leading role in building our Expert Services practice in Germany and our regional organizations engaging in people and business development, capability building, and recruiting
- You build trusted relationships with existing and new clients to understand their needs and tailoring our offers to meet their current challenges
What you are good at:
- You have broad experience leading complex digital technology programs including (multi-)project management, design, development, testing, rollout and operations
- You have extensive experience working in the Energy Markets/Energy Trading area
- You have strong consulting skills from strategic thinking and problem-solving to effective communication and strong sense of customer orientation to deep organization and planning skills
- You have broad technology knowledge and functional expertise in at least one of the following areas: Business Transformation, Change Management, Digital Service & Platform Development, Rollout & Industrialization
- You have experience managing delivery teams across multiple locations and vendors as well as external partners to successfully deliver the required outcomes in dynamic environments
- You are experienced in building and running a practice including capability and people development
- You have a university degree in Business, IT or a related field
- You are fluent in English
- Ideally, you have knowledge of the energy sector and the grid business
