Financial Accountant

**Who We Are**

This is a hybrid role with three days per week in our Berlin and Hamburg offices. Outside these cities, the position can be filled remotely within Germany._**

**What You Will Do**
- Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings in accordance with HGB and IFRS
- Support with local statutory audit and tax filing preparations and submissions in accordance with German laws
- Book various business transactions (AP, GL, Intercompany), preparing/executing payments, and supporting other international entities when needed
- Ensure account reconciliations are completed on time and open items are cleared in a timely manner, especially with the monthly reporting deadlines
- Participate in the continuous improvement of the Group’s internal financial processes, reporting, and control system
- Interact with other internal stakeholders in accounting matters as needed
- Support and guide more junior colleagues in the team

**What You Will Bring**
- Minimum 4 years of work experience in Accounting
- Knowledge of **HGB is a must-have (3+ years)**, and IFRS is desirable
- Full business proficiency in both **English and German**
- Prior work experience with an ERP system (we work in Oracle NetSuite), MS Office, and Excel
- Completed vocational training or university degree with a focus on Finance and Accounting
