Logisitics Expert

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design, develop, and improve **logistics and supply chain processes** for automotive parts.
- Optimize **material flow, inventory management, and warehouse layout** to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Implement **Lean principles and Just-in-Time (JIT) strategies** to streamline operations.
- Develop and maintain **transportation and packaging strategies** to minimize waste and damage.
- Work with suppliers, production teams, and carriers to ensure smooth **inbound and outbound logistics**.
- Use **data analysis, simulation tools, and KPIs** to monitor and improve logistics performance.
- Ensure compliance with **automotive industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies**.
- Lead **continuous improvement initiatives** to enhance logistics processes and reduce costs.
- Support new product launches by coordinating logistics planning and supplier readiness.

**Required Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Bachelor’s degree** in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- **2-5+ years** of experience in logistics, supply chain, or industrial engineering in the **automotive industry**.
- Strong knowledge of **Lean Manufacturing, JIT, Kanban, and warehouse management systems (WMS)**.
- Experience with **ERP/MRP systems** (SAP, Oracle, etc.) for logistics planning.
- Proficiency in **data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL, or similar)**.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize logistics processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- **Six Sigma or Lean certification** is a plus.
- Experience with **automotive OEM and Tier 1 supplier logistics requirements**.
- Knowledge of **transportation regulations, customs procedures, and packaging standards**.
