Internship Supply Chain and Production

**Internship in Mechanical Engineering with focus on Supply Chain and Production (f/m/x)**:
Nuventura is a young, Berlin-based, deep-tech company that aims to eliminate SF6 - the most potent greenhouse gas known - from the power grid. We have developed a switchgear - an essential part of any power grid - that uses simple dry air instead, without sacrificing performance. The impact of this technology on the environment can be huge: it is capable of avoiding emissions in the order of 100 million cars.

To also stay ahead of the competition technically, we are installing sensors that monitor key condition data and enable advancements in IoT and Industry 4.0. Through our solution, we can not only reduce but completely avoid SF6 emissions in the power sector, while reducing costs for grid operators.

**Your area of responsibility**

- One of your main tasks at Nuventura will be to support the implementation of our projects, especially the assembly of our switchgear product at our production partner. We are also looking forward to your support in a diverse field of areas:

- You will support the creation of technical documents such as quality inspection reports, product assembly procedures as requested by our product manager.
- You will learn to understand our product well and support our production team during product assembly.
- You will document work processes comprehensively, clearly and with the necessary eye for detail
- You will support us in preparing documentation for our new ERP system.
- You will support the processes of inventory, planning and management.

**What makes you stand out?**
- You are studying for a master’s degree in mechanical engineering/ production / industrial engineering, or a comparable technical field of study and have a minimum of one year of experience after bachelors.
- You are required to do a mandatory internship of ideally 6 months.
- You ideally have experience in hardware development.
- You have already gained some knowledge of CAD programs (preferably Autodesk Inventor).
- You have strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills. You do not let go until the problem is solved.
- You work reliably and maintain confidence and overview during peak workloads
- You learn to become independent and know how to ask specific questions and find solutions when things get stuck.
- You are willing to travel to our production partner at least 2 times a week over the course of the internship.
- You have a distinct technical understanding, and it is easy for you to understand technical drawings and to deduce the need for action from them.
- You have a driving license class B (no own car necessary)
- You have very good written and spoken German and English (at least B2)
