Director Private Debt

MISSIONS:

- Playing a leading role in sourcing, evaluating and executing new investments in the DACH Private Debt market and working closely with the Private Debt team.
- Along with other senior team members, contributing to the development of investment strategies and adjusting strategies in relation to market changes.
- Develop and broaden relationships with private equity firms, corporates, M&A and debt advisors, banks, law firms etc and strengthen the Tikehau Capital network.
- Review information packs as part of the screening process of new opportunities.
- Evaluate, analyse, structure and execute direct lending transactions, negotiate term sheet's, SFA's and ICA's.
- Lead, contribute and prepare investment papers and lead the investment committee process'.
- Lead and support the monitoring of local portfolio companies.
- Participate in fundraising and investor relations activities, as needed. 

PROFILE:

- 8-12 years of total experience.
- Previous experience in corporate finance, transaction services, private debt, leveraged finance.
- Sourcing and deal execution experience.
- Interacting with management teams, possessing leadership and communication skills.
- Flexible, proactive and with exceptional analytical skills in analysing investment opportunities, market information and financials.
- Ability to communicate complex, abstract and/or difficult messages in simple, clear manner.
- Fluent in German and English. Strong motivation, results oriented mindset, good team player with the desire to thrive and learn in an entrepreneurial and dynamic company.
