**Description of Responsibilities**:
The position involves active participation in the research activities of the group. Our research focuses on interdisciplinary topics in the space of machine learning, with deep learning in particular, and visual computational neuroscience.
The position includes teaching Cognitive Science courses at B.Sc. and M.Sc. level (4 hours/week) and allows to work towards a habilitation.
**Requirements**:
- An academic degree (Master/Diploma) as well as research experience in a relevant field (e.g. machine learning, cognitive neuroscience, cognitive science, artificial intelligence, etc.) as part of obtaining a PhD degree.
- Very good scientific programming skills in Python.
- Strong research interests in the areas of machine/deep learning and visual computational neuroscience/neuroimaging.
- An excellent command of the English language in written and spoken form.
- A track record of relevant peer-reviewed publications.
The position is available on a full-time or part-time basis.
