About the Role
As a business controller you will oversee the financial performance against predefined targets for a number of manufacturing sites across the globe within the Health and Medical Division. You will contribute to the monthly consolidation of the business unit financials (P&L, Balance sheet, cash flow) ensuring fiscal and legal compliance. Your role is to collaborate and mentor colleagues in the sites, whilst helping improving systems and processes in the manufacturing sites.
As business controller you will take part of a massive business transformation over the different manufacturing sites. You will also play a key part in supporting the strategic direction of BU HMS and Medical Product Supply and will have potential participation in M&A integrations. You will deputise for the controlling director PSM as required.
You will report to the controlling director PSM and will be working closely with the site controllers.
What You Will Do- Review and analyse results for Medical sites according to accounting standards and providing information to the stakeholders- Monitor and follow up of the respective performance of different manufacturing sites.- Challenge and support the local leadership teams on sites in all financial aspects- Being key contributor in consolidation of all financials of manufacturing sites in unit Medical Product Supply- Support and develop Capex process in sites and post review of capital expenditure in projects- Support of annual local budget and quarterly local forecasts process- Key participant in processing consolidation of Budget and quarterly forecasts- Participate in long term financial planning of Business Unit Medical supply- Supporting the strategic direction of BU HMS by taking part in strategic projects in cross functional teams- Participate in the global controllers network of Business unit, e.g. to drive best practices within Finance and controlling- Support to secure data integrity of all relevant financial information and planning systems in the different manufacturing sites- Supporting to secure the financial controls on different manufacturing sites including all aspects of profit centre accounting and internal controls- Supporting in AP and TP Process across the manufacturing sites- Maintain the interfacing to the site controllers and to Global Business Services- Supporting and ensuring the development of site controllers and continue process improvements- Support the business transformation across the sites (automation; EWOW; MES; Power BI etc)

Who are you- University degree or equivalent, preferably in BA, Economics or Finance- Has significant proven relevant business/industry experience with Manufacturing and Controlling- Profound knowledge about the business and understanding of the whole value chain- Excellent knowledge and experience with financial information, reporting and planning systems- Solid knowledge of Accounting Standards- Ability and experience to build solid partnership with senior stakeholders- Strong analytical skills and good strategic insight and ability- Strong verbal and written skills, able to communicate and influence on different levels- Ability to challenge the status quo- Fluent In English- Frequent business travel is required
