**The Team**:
Celonis’ product design and research is part of the Product & Engineering team; We made it our mission to design and deliver consumer grade experiences and empower everybody in companies to make use of process mining and the Celonis Execution Management System. As designers and researchers we are working at the intersection of product design, business, and engineering to deliver usable and valuable solutions to our global customers.

**The Role**:
As a Working Student in the Design System Team you will support us building a design system that enables us to ship high quality products faster. You will work together with designers and developers on creating and documenting UI components, complex patterns, color systems and typography guidelines in Figma. You will partner with the different product design teams and collect their requirements and communicate changes in the design system.

**The work you’ll do**:
You will define and document the design patterns and best practices our team applies every day. You will support the design system team with collecting requirements from other teams, designing and improving components in Figma, and documenting our work in order to scale the impact of our design system. Your work creates an important impact in improving how we collaborate in our day-to-day work.

**The qualifications you need**:

- You are currently pursuing a degree in Human-Computer-Interaction (HCI), Information Design, Communication Design, Engineering, Psychology, or similar
- You already have a basic understanding of design systems.
- You are familiar / have good skills with Figma.
- You have empathy for the user, a good understanding of user-centered design and good analytical abilities.
- You have a structured approach and are well organized.
- Demonstrated improvement of product usability.
- Outstanding communication skills & fluent in English.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates your abilities.
