Our team of Instrument Builders is an important part of our Engineering Organization and currently consists of 3 people. The purpose of this talented team is to build Kontakt Instruments; monetize, advocate for and constantly improve our instrument building platform.Our Instrument Builders report to an Engineering Manager, it is their job to work closely with product management, designers and engineering teams to get the best possible products out of our platform.

**What You'll Do**:

- You will help implement software instruments for our developer platform
- You'll work closely with product managers, designers, developers, QA engineers and partners to ensure we deliver amazing products
- Consulting with our industry partners on how to get the most out of our platform, you'll be involved in the full instrument development process
- You will develop, maintain and extend the component libraries for our platform
- Together with your team, you will help define and evangelize best practices for how to work with our technologies
- You will work closely with our software teams to continuously improve our tools/ language
- You will create and improve the documentation and tooling for our partners
- You will work in an environment which supports learning and professional growth through e.g. mentoring, workgroups and communities of practice
- You will come up with your innovative ideas e.g. in hackathons and eventually implement them in products

**What You'll Need**:

- Programming experience in Lua and Python
- Experience in using and building software instruments
- Familiarity with different front-end frameworks
- Experience with user interface development and web technology is a plus
- Comfort with Git workflows
- You value teamwork, knowledge sharing and learning from each other and demonstrate a collaborative working approach
- You see errors and mistakes as an opportunity to learn and improve
- You understand the value of writing clean, maintainable code and creating user-centric solutions
