**About the role**:
We are looking for an experienced, German speaking Senior Copywriter for Content & Product Marketing to join our commercial unit as part of the Billie Marketing team. In your role you will be a key partner to our Acquisition, Lifecycle, Brand and Product teams. In this position you will play a central role in shaping the way Billie and its products are received by our audience and how we communicate with them. You will be responsible for creating a broad variety of compelling and engaging copy and content for different channels and formats from social, web and product copy to print, long copy, and display advertising. We are looking for a creative mind with strong all-around writing skills and understanding of the B2B e-commerce market as well as payments and tech landscape.
Your responsibilities:
- Execute on our content strategy by creating compelling content and copy that engages with our audience while being in line with SEO principles and our brand and content style guide.
- Write highly curated and differentiated content such as white paper or other long copy formats, that is well researched and educates our audience around the business problems and solutions space we are operating in and position Billie as thought leader within B2B payments and ecommerce.
- Raise the maturity of our existing content by delivering best-in-class copy and information to increase our positioning as pioneers in the market.
- Brainstorm and develop content ideas supporting the bigger message and connecting the dots to promote our Brand.
- Support our Sales and Acquisition teams with creative copies tailored to our audience to make their campaigns a success.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders from Sales, Product and other teams to translate our technology and products as well as complex topics to simple, yet compelling stories.
- Closely collaborate with the website and product teams to write clear and targeted UX/UI copy that always aims to optimize our product or website in a user-centric way.
- Support in content localization for both marketing and product.
- Review and edit key touch points written or translated by others for appropriate tone, content and intention.
- Participate in updating our tone of voice guidelines and content style guide.
**Who we are looking for**:
- You have 6+ years of experience creating content and copy as part of marketing teams, ideally operating in the B2B space with a focus on enterprise customers or a related discipline.
- You have a significant background writing for fintechs, software or other technological companies and a good understanding for Growth and Marketing.
- You hold a degree in translation, creative writing, journalism or literature, or have corresponding professional experience.
- You are fluent in German (on a native level) with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with a strong grasp of spelling, grammar, and a very strong attention to detail.
- You are able to write in a variety of styles with an ear for modern, conversational and inclusive language.
- You have a proven track record and portfolio of work that demonstrates high-quality content for marketing, sales and product teams that customers like.
- You know how to integrate SEO into your copies when needed and are used to following style, tone, and voice guidelines while delivering results on time.
- You know how to work independently in an agile and creative environment while enjoying collaborating with your colleagues.
- You are a self-starter who is familiar with common content tools such as Contentful, ahrefs, ReadMe, Prismic, Phrase, and the whole Google Suite is a big plus.
- Experience in localization and translation management is a plus.
- You are highly organized and you bring excellent project management skills, have a successful track record of project delivery and pay high attention to detail to ensure flawless quality. Experience working directly with designers and content managers is a plus.
- You have a highly collaborative approach with excellent stakeholder management skills and a positive attitude, and are capable of building trust with your team and fellow colleagues, yet you are capable of working independently, owning projects from ideation to final delivery/implementation.
