As the shaper behind our global offshore wind strategy, you will have the opportunity to define portfolio strategy, support in the definition of regional and country strategies and spearhead important strategic projects alongside the entire value chain (jointly with our business functions) that are pivotal to our continued growth. You are not only the strategic advisor to our management board, but also to our business functions and development regions. **Your new key responsibilities**:

- **Setting the strategic direction**:As the Head of Strategy, you will be at the forefront of shaping our overall strategic direction. Your visionary insights will guide RWE Offshore Wind in navigating the complex landscape of offshore wind energy, ensuring we remain pioneers in the industry.
- **Spearhead our portfolio strategy review**:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct our regular portfolio strategy review. Your analytical and conceptual skills will be crucial in identifying areas for improvement, implementing strategic adjustments to enhance our competitive edge and consult and challenge our board as an important advisor.
- **Pipeline prioritization**:Ensure a portfolio view on our global project pipeline in collaboration with our development, commercial, and finance teams.
- **Run strategic business projects**:Run or support strategic business projects (ranging from topics across the entire value chain) jointly with our business functions to address the most pressing strategic issues our industry is facing.
- **Support our development regions in their regional / country strategies**:Collaborate with our regional and local development teams to support them in defining winning strategies tailored to local markets and aligned with our global strategy. Your global perspective will be essential in addressing regional nuances and positioning RWE Offshore Wind as a leader in every established or new markets.
- **Stay on top of the market**:Monitor market developments across the offshore wind industry continuously and feed the business with market, competitor and business intelligence across the entire value chain.
- **Stakeholder management / networking**:Build trustful relationships with key stakeholders from RWE AG and our further operational units to secure support for the strategic direction of our offshore wind business.
- **Team leadership**:Lead and develop our team of experienced strategists that all have a background in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, and business strategy.

**You are a great match**:

- **Long-standing experience**:Several years of profound leadership experience in (strategy) consulting, strategy, and business / corporate development as well as industry knowledge about the renewable energy sector. Proven ability to build, develop, guide and inspire an innovative as well as diverse team.
- **Consulting / strategy background**:In-depth experience in global management consulting or strategy development. Professional expertise in structure and solving business problems through sophisticated analytical thinking.
- **Top-down communication**:Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences (for instance board, directors or externals).
- **Project management**:Skilled navigator for projects with a proven history of efficiently completed projects on time and within budget.
- **Visionary Thinking**:Proven ability to think strategically, anticipate industry trends, and develop innovative solutions grounded on strong analytical skills and conceptual thinking.
- **Global Perspective**:Experience working in a global context, understanding the nuances of different markets and regions.
