**SENIOR STRATEGIC BUYER (F/M/D)**:

**The MEININGER Hotels Berlin Headquarters is looking for a Senior Strategic Buyer (f/m/d), who will serve as the primary contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders to establish purchasing strategies at MEININGER.**

**YOUR TASKS**:

- You are responsible for setting sourcing strategies and paying special attention to local vs global sourcing
- You obtain competitive quotations as per given requirements and policies
- You negotiate with suppliers and ensure that the goods and services are delivered as per agreed schedule and quality
- You establish purchase contracts and ensure that purchases are made based on Best Value for Money approach
- You actively propose improvements in the field of procurement and support improvements initiatives

**YOUR PROFIL**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar procurement role, expertise in the hospitality industry is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to develop sourcing and negotiation strategies for cross-regional sourcing activities
- Ability to evaluate legal and business risks and ramifications of proposed contractual terms
- Fluent in English and in another European language (German, French, Italian, Polish)
- Good knowledge of MS office suite
- Strong negotiating and closing skills required
