**Senior Photonic Designer - (f/m/x)**:
**Your mission**:

- Develop design of experiment for characterization of photonic components
- Understand/executing of foundry PDK for photonic development
- Management of communication with foundry PDK
- Management of communication with photonic design partners

**Your profile**:

- MSc/PhD in Physics, Photonic, Optic or Electrical Engineering
- In-depth knowledge of chip-level photonic design principles
- Experience in Lumerical simulation tools or equivalent
- Experience in using photonic foundry PDK
- Experience in photonic layout IC software is a plus
- Proactive problem-solving skills
- Team-player in a dynamic working environment
- Professional working proficiency in English is mandatory
- Self-driven, creative and highly motivated
- Ability to work onsite in the office in Ulm
