A Moving Experience.
The Cerence User Experience Team is looking for a talented, active, and creative UX specialist to join us in Ulm. We are a multi-disciplinary team focused on ensuring that the end-users of multi-modal automotive systems receive the greatest possible in-vehicle experience.

Daily Functions / Responsibilities:
- Design and conduct quantitative and qualitative UX research on multi-modal in-car speech systems
- Work together with UI design, engineering and customer while advocating a user-centered approach to the design of multi-modal in-car speech systems
- Prepare and hold design brainstorming workshops with customers
- Support UX concept and design phase in customer projects
- Prepare, execute and document UX reviews and evaluations
- Conduct user studies
- Interact with participants and moderate user tests
- Analyze extracted data, write reports, and present results
- Meet with stakeholders to discuss results and determine next steps in design and research
Required skills:
- User research experience
- Experience in user experience and user interface design
- Experience moderating and conducting experiments
- Dynamic personality and flexible attitude
- Ability and willingness to handle occasional peak demands
- Ability and willingness to travel for short trips
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and German is a must
Preferred skills:
- Ability to develop and administer user surveys (online)
- Experience with speech user interfaces is a strong plus
