**Your tasks**:

- Drive and develop a data culture, delivering analyses, but also checking for data consistency and finding patterns.
- Functionally lead and mentor Data Scientists, ensuring code reviews, enforcing tooling, and introducing new Data Science techniques and ways of working.
- Identify and refine strategic projects, working with the Team Lead to define scope and deliverables.
- Own high-value projects, break them into tasks, onboard the team, and ensure outcomes and stakeholder communication.
- Support the Team Lead by managing time allocation for sub-team members, balancing tasks, projects, and learning.
- Build relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders and communicate insights to leadership.
- Ensure sustainability of projects through documentation, knowledge sharing, and code access.
- Collaborate with other Data teams and facilitate timely involvement in requirements.
- Experiment with ML for analytics and conduct A/B testing for actionable insights.

**What you offer us**:

- Experience in providing agile data solutions in a start-up environment
- You can perform complex analyses, including A/B tests, in either Python or R.
- Experience in some of the following: personalization, Google Analytics, SQL, Shiny Server, Tableau and MS Automate.
- Experience managing data projects, gathering requirements, and ensuring delivery.
- First leadership experience in Data Science, including mentoring and coordination.
- Knowledge of project sustainability, documentation, and code accessibility.
- You are able to find pragmatic solutions and adapt to change quickly.
- Familiarity with agile environments, e-commerce metrics, and/or cohort analysis.
- You enjoy expanding your Data Science, ML and programming toolsets, bringing new knowledge into the team.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English.
