Our client, a leading global commodities trading firm, is seeking an experienced **Senior Grains Trader** to join their team in Europe. This role requires a highly skilled professional with a deep understanding of the global grains market, strong trading acumen, and a proven track record in commodity trading.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute trading strategies for grains, ensuring profitable outcomes.
- Manage the procurement and sale of grains across international markets.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, buyers, and other market participants.
- Monitor global market trends, supply-demand dynamics, and pricing fluctuations to optimize trading decisions.
- Collaborate with risk management teams to mitigate market and credit risks.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.

**Requirements**:

- To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:

- **
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience** in grains trading within an international trading firm.
- Strong knowledge of **global agricultural commodities markets**, including supply chain logistics.
- Proven track record of **profitable trading strategies** and revenue generation.
- Established network of suppliers, buyers, and industry stakeholders.
- Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently for business.
