**THE OPPORTUNITY**

The Portfolio Implementation Associate is a unique role that will provide advanced operational support to clients and investment teams of Cambridge Associates GmbH, a subsidiary of Cambridge Associates in Germany. They act as a central point of contact for investment teams and other internal stakeholders.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Trade Instructions**
- Enter approved trade instructions into CA’s portfolio management system.
- Coordinate with Investment Directors to ensure approval.
- Directly engage with client contact(s), investment teams, and other internal CA business areas to ensure effective communication regarding the implementation of investment decisions.

**2. Client Operational Inquiries**
- Problem resolution and audit/reporting support for client portfolios.
- Investigate and answer operationally driven client and investment team inquiries.
- Coordinate with investment teams to complete ad-hoc operational projects, provide supplemental portfolio analysis, and gather information to aid investment decisions.
- Serve as main point of contact for new business onboarding, ushering the client through requirements and facilitating internal review.
- Use trade order management software to monitor investment instructions, trade-flow, and transaction status, and ensure timely processing of CA GmbH orders, escalating issues as appropriate
- Ensure trade orders and subscription, redemption, and transfer documentation prepared by outsourced investment operations function in London accurately reflects investment decisions made by CA GmbH, escalating issues as appropriate
- Coordinate with clients, fund managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely execution, transmission, and completion of CA GmbH investment orders
- Conduct ongoing oversight on behalf of CA GmbH, of outsourced investment operations functions performed in London, to ensure they meet trading policy requirements relating to CA GmbH client orders. Report findings within CA GmbH and CA Ltd as appropriate
- Adhere to established policies and procedures to support maintenance of controls and risk mitigation, and engage with leadership in the development of new controls and procedures
- Provide superior client service as portfolio operations central point of contact for clients, investment teams and other stakeholders; investigating and responding to operational queries as required

**Additional Responsibilities as Required**
- Proactively support investment team objectives for portfolio implementation, maintaining an awareness of current investment themes and client needs
- Provide supplemental portfolio analysis, and gather information to support investment decisi
