**Details about the team**

**Your role and key responsibilities**
- Operate as an Operations Engineer within the Corporate Bank Operations Transformational team, supporting the delivery of Operations requirements across a range of multi-product Change The Bank (CTB) projects, with specific emphasis on EMEA Branches
- Function as an Operational Engineer on CTB assigned program with responsibility for leading and driving enhancements to core operational processes in order to decrease complexity and deliver Operational benefits
- Ensure in all assigned programs, articulate the operational benefit of E2E system integrations, optimised processes which eliminate manual process steps and ensure prioritisation of those benefits within the IT BOW
- Operate with minimum guidance and is accountable for the ensuring that business and technology agendas are aligned to the EMEA Branch Operations objectives
- Develop and maintain close working relations with the key stakeholders including Technology and Product areas and implementing and documenting change/investigating implications of change
- Gathering, validating, and objectively analysing relevant information to identify key issues, drawing sound conclusions, and making decisions on the appropriate course of action which includes providing a clear direction and vision to CTB teams and clears roadblocks within their group

**Your skills and experience**
- University degree in economics, apprenticeship in banking or equivalent qualification
- Several years Banking experience, with detailed knowledge of working within Operations environment supporting products such as Cash, Trade Finance, Loans and Securities Services
- High analytical skills, detail orientation, service commitment and solid people management skills with an ability to work independently as part of virtual global teams in a matrix organisation
- Innovative approach to work and continuously identify and implement process improvements with a balanced focus on delivering effective solutions
- A structured & determined approach to work, a willingness to take ownership of problems, ability to effectively assess and mitigate program risks and dependencies and an ability to communicate with clients and colleagues at all levels
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and fluent in both written and verbal English
