**The role**:
We are looking for part-time content editors to assist in publishing translated content in French on our platform. This role is based at our European office in Berlin, and we have a flexible working policy with the possibility of working remotely 50% of your time.

The Headout Localisation Team oversees the localisation of our marketing, website, and product content into several languages, and as a member of this team, you will help develop and shape our voice in French and make sure the content is relevant for the local user. Working closely with the French Language Manager, you'll have an important role to help ensure that we offer the best possible experience to our French-speaking users. At Headout, localisation is an evolving project, hence the role comes with opportunities for development and taking on additional tasks. The position is initially a limited 6-month contract with possibility of extension.

**What makes this role special?**:

- You will support** **in French localisation for the wide array of content at Headout, from marketing material to the website UI
- You get to translate, edit and publish tourism, marketing and promotional content in our CMS
- Following SEO best practices and doing keyword research will be an important part of your tasks
- You work with a pool of freelancers for your language and ensure translations adhere to established quality and style guidelines
- Performing quality checks on content and format of the localised products together with your language manager will allow you to identify areas of improvement

**What skills & experience do you need?**:

- Native French speaker with excellent English speaking and writing skills
- Experience in content writing or editing, experience in translation is a plus
- BA or MA in languages, marketing, communications, or similar field, or a student currently enrolled in a programme
- Excellent communication, analytical, and writing skills
- Ability to multitask, adapt to changes, prioritise tasks, and work under tight deadlines
- Proactive, motivated, and able to work both independently with mínimal guidance and as part of a team
