**THE TEAM**
The Customer Service team is responsible for maintaining Tablet’s reputation for having the best Customer Service in the Online Travel Agency business. As the face of the company our Travel Specialists’ mission is to convert new users into loyal customers; to keep existing customers coming back for more; to quickly and confidently minimize damage, regardless of the source, while demonstrating resourcefulness and grit; to predict and get ahead of conflicts, and to create a customer experience so incredible it defines Tablet.
**THE OPPORTUNITY**
We are seeking a bilingual Travel Specialist to support our clients. **The hourly rate for this contractor position is $25 USD per hour / 40 hrs per week, Friday-Tuesday. **This is a telecommute position working with our New York City based office.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**REQUIRED SKILLS**
- Customer-facing work experience in the travel, hospitality, restaurant, or retail sectors
- Oral and written native fluency in German
- Oral and written proficiency in English
- Superb communication skills
- Responding to client inquiries in a timely manner and managing their expectations
- Relaying information to our hotel partners in a clear and concise manner
- Reporting bugs, data issues, and enhancement suggestions to the appropriate departments
- Reporting client feedback regarding hotels and/ or service
- Ability to problem solve, real-time, and ensure our clients’ needs are satisfied quickly and simply
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, ever-changing, and highly collaborative environment
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) or Microsoft Office products using cloud-based tools to create and share documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and files
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage time and deadlines, prioritize tasks, and keep track of steps in processes
- Applicants are required to be fully vaccinated in accordance with office policy (training is in person)
