**To support our team in Berlin, we are looking for a Buyer**: in (all genders) in full-time with immediate effect.

BARFER'S is the most successful brand in the area of Barf (organic raw food) for dogs and cats in Germany. The more than 280 products produced in Berlin are sold through our online shop and a total of five of our own stores in Berlin, Potsdam and Jena.

Why did we found BARFER'S? To invent new quality and variety of Barf products and to revolutionise the pet market for the health of our four-legged friends. To produce products according to new standards and to keep the complete production chain under our own control. This mission and common conviction for the barf nutrition of our beloved four-legged friends unites the 70-strong BARFER'S team.

Tasks
- You find the right meat for our four-legged friends on the international meat markets and organise the packaging such as foils and cardboards.
- You negotiate supply contracts, framework agreements, quantity purchases, etc.
- You analyse and optimise the product groups for which you are responsible
- The commercial processing of the entire ordering process from obtaining quotations to processing complaints are also part of your duties.

**Requirements**:

- You have completed a commercial apprenticeship, business studies or comparable education with sound experience in purchasing
- Ideally, you already have experience in purchasing meat products
- Very good knowledge of purchasing processes, ideally on international markets and also in dispositions
- very good verbal as well as written communication skills in English and German, coupled with negotiation skills. Other language skills are also an advantage
