Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Electronics Security Technician **to join our team In this role you will get to administer and maintain their Fixed Site Sustainment (FSS) contract at multiple Military Operating Bases (MOB) throughout the Continental Unites States (CONUS)

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Maintains required performance and maintenance records utilizing the government-supplied inventory tracking and work order database for identified equipment.
- Performs preventive maintenance functions as directed, including but not limited to:

- Maintaining inventory of parts and supplies to ensure they are always available.
- Maintaining and repairing tools and equipment used in ESS Maintenance and Services (M&S) and Corrective M&S.
- Performing routine inspections of equipment to identify potential problems before they occur
- Troubleshooting ESS equipment or processes to identify the source of the issue.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning ESS equipment, replacing parts, and performing minor repairs.
- Inspecting equipment for signs of wear, cracked/frayed cabling, and loose cable connections
- Coordinating with the Project Management Office and Customer regarding potential issues, such as design problems, requiring engineering support.
- Performing preventative maintenance inspections and services on ESS equipment to ensure safe monitoring of the facilities.
- Scheduling repairs or requesting quotes from vendors for prices to complete repair work.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Identiv Hirsch Velocity (IDS and ACS) - Certification
- X Series Combination Locks - Certification
- Bosch CCTV - Training/Experience for camera installation | Certification for VMS preferred
- Pelco CCTV - Training/Experience for camera installation | Certification for VMS preferred
- Heintzmann barriers - Training/Experience
- Nasatka barriers - Training/Experience
- Other IDS, ACS, or CCTV systems certifications considered

**What Desired Skills You'll Bring**:

- A bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of recent specialized experience, or;
- An associate degree plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, or;
- A major certification plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, or;
- 11 years of recent specialized experience
- Additionally, the technicians must possess at least two years of experience in electronics maintenance and experience with Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), intrusion detection systems (IDS, automated access control systems (ACS), and basic networking.

**Minimum Clearance Required to Start**:
Secret
