Supervisory Recreation Specialist

**Duties**: Responsible for the economic and efficient operation of the Rod and Gun Club Complex. Which includes club retail store, multiple skeet ranges, 2 trap ranges, five stand sporting clays and ranges, rifle/pistol/running boar range, paintball fields. Position will include the responsibility to manage personnel, financial, marketing, programing classes, range maintenance and special events. Prepares annual income and expense budget, capital expenditures budget, budgets for renovation projects, analyzes financial results and maintains solid financial condition of the Rod & Gun Club complex. Coordinates with senior military and civilian leadership and local and federal officials. Responsible for work force management recruitment and training. Ensures all personnel are formally trained in fire, safety funds handling, rental sales. Manages real property resources and provides expert advice on renovations, improvements, and construction both major and minor. Establishes policies and directives to ensure the efficient operation of all aspect of the Rod and Gun Complex. Develops guidelines and directives for resource protection with emphasis on firearms, munitions, and funds protection. Performs as Squadron Weapons Safety Officer. Maintains weapons sales register IAW Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms laws. Prepares publicity and marketing request to maximize operational goals. Tracks programs to determine the success of advertising dollars spent. Responsible for the facility upkeep and maintenance using Civil Engineers work order system. Track work orders and performs follow up request when necessary. Responsible for conducting inventories and maintaining records. Establishes schedules of events, as well as rules and regulations to be observed. Completes daily and weekly financial paperwork to include deposits and completion of required accounting forms. Report any issues to Supervisor.
